Many patients of the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program do not have access to phones thus are not able to have telemedicine visits. This population is already more vulnerable to COVID-19, and making them enter the BHCHP clinic to maintain their access to health care during this time increases the risk for both patients and staff. A donation of used smartphones would be immensely helpful to keep these patients out of the clinic while still connected to care.

IF YOU ARE DONATING AN APPLE DEVICE, PLEASE ERASE ALL PERSONAL DATA, TURN OFF FIND MY iPHONE, AND REMOVE THE DEVICE FROM YOUR iCLOUD ACCOUNT.

In the store, go to the Easytech Counter and tell the associate that you are dropping off a donation for Connect Against COVID. They will provide a shopping bag for you to put your item(s) in and then they will safely place your donations in a collection bin.

Need help erasing your personal data from your device?
Before giving them to hospitals, we will double check to make sure all devices have been reset. However, you can get a head start on this at home by clicking on one of these links, depending on what type of device you are donating. If you have an Apple device, please be sure to remove the device from your iCloud account before donating, otherwise we will not be able to activate it, even after the device has been reset.
